Job Description: Ultrasound Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team. This position is essential for providing high-quality imaging services to support patient care. The technician will work Wednesday through Saturday from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients as per physician orders.


• Ensure the safety of patients during the ultrasound procedure.


• Maintain equipment and keep imaging rooms clean and well-stocked.


• Collaborate with healthcare staff to interpret ultrasound images and report findings.


• Document all procedures accurately in patient records.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state license/certification as an Ultrasound Technician.


• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.


• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in medical imaging.

Requirements for Onboarding

• Valid licensure and certificate verification.


• Fit test submission.


• COVID-19 vaccination status.


• 2-Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot).


• Physical/Health statement submission.


• Completion of professional forms, including conflict of interest disclosure and criminal background check.


• Education verification and skills checklist submission.

Contract Information

This position has a contract duration of 90 weeks with guaranteed hours.
