Job Summary:
Do you thrive at the crossroads of strategy, storytelling, and community impact? We’re looking for a PR Manager in Hurricane, Utah, to lead community outreach, media relations, and brand storytelling. From planning events and sponsorships to writing press releases and coordinating interviews, you’ll build connections that matter and ensure our message is trusted, consistent, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute external PR events such as community outreach, sponsorships, volunteer activities, and other initiatives aligned with ShipIt’s brand values
Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, and press attendance to ensure smooth execution and maximum impact
Write and distribute press releases
Maintain media contact lists
Coordinate interviews and prepare executives or spokespeople for media appearances
Oversee PR-related social media content in collaboration with Creative and Social teams
Track campaign performance across media and social platforms and report insights to leadership
Manage external PR budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maximizing impact
Collaborate across departments to ensure unified messaging and consistent branding
Ensure all messaging, campaigns, visuals, and external efforts align with ShipIt’s branding, guidelines, policies, image, and core values
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience in a public relations role or equivalent
Able to lift 50 pounds
Clear communication
Preferred Skills:
Degree in Marketing and/or Communications
Ability to plan and execute
Ability to network
Positive, clear, and professional in all interactions
Confident in public speaking and media relations
Skilled in written communications, including press releases, proposals, and reports
Outgoing and professional approach
Collaboration, communication, and listening skills
Leadership and interpersonal skills
Time management, prioritization, and organization skills
Strong team management skills
Proficiency in technology, especially Google Workspace

Pay: $18 an hour plus $1,000 quarterly bonus
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
