Maintains bed and room in a clean, neat, safe, and comfortable manner. Removes supplies and equipment not in use; placing furnishings and equipment out of the path in order to provide a safe, neat, and organized area./liliAdheres to patient rounding expectations and standards./liliPromptly and appropriately responds to patient and family calls and requests/liliMay be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies./li/ulpRequirements for consideration:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent is required/liliTwo (2) years experience in inpatient hospital setting is preferred/liliCPR certification is preferred/liliCurrently state CNA certification is preferred/li/ulpWe value our employees skills, talents and input. These values are included in our competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits./ppMinimum Job Requirements/pulliHigh school diploma or GED equivalent preferred./lili2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting required, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred./liliCurrent state CNA certification required./liliBLS certification required./li/ulpRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:/pulliKnowledge of current clinical operations and procedures./liliDemonstrates knowledge of appropriate Infection Prevention and proper body mechanics./liliDemonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and records management./liliDemonstrates critical thinking skills./liliEffective written and verbal communication skills./liliAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks./liliAbility to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection prevention standards./liliAbility to maintain proper levels of confidentiality./liliAbility to work closely and professionally with others at all levels of the organization./li/ulpPhysical Requirements Over the Course of a Shift:/pulliA significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods./liliBoth gross and precise motor functions./liliLifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs./liliPossible exposure to bodily fluids./liliVisual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care./liliAcute hearing required for accurate patient assessment./liliSufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard./liliClose vision and the ability to adjust focus./li/ul/div
