Job Posting: Data Entry Clerk

Pay Rate: $21/hour

About the Role

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support our client’s operations by accurately entering account data into our systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter account data into computer systems with minimal errors.

• Review and reject incorrectly coded data, returning it to the appropriate department.

• Apply advanced editing and coding skills to correct source document errors.

• Maintain and update reference materials for key entry operations.

• Validate credit card numbers and amounts for accounts that cannot be internally processed.

• Rerun and correct input data after batch processing.

• Review processed work for accuracy and identify errors.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED.

• Preferred: Additional or specialized training in data entry or administrative support.

• 1–2 years of previous experience in data entry or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Proficiency with keyboarding and basic computer operations.
