Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join their growing team in Richmond, VA. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful water and wastewater infrastructure projects while collaborating in a positive, innovative, and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and design water/wastewater projects including sewers, lift stations, force mains, treatment facilities, booster stations, and system studies
- Coordinate with internal and external project teams
- Contribute to proposal preparation and client relationship management
- Maintain quality control of deliverables and promote positive team culture
- Support business development and client engagement initiatives
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field from ABET-accredited program
- PE license in Virginia (or ability to obtain)
- 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 in water/wastewater
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, or hydraulic modelling a plus
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Treatment process knowledge and PM experience a plus

Salary Range: $135,000 – $155,000 DOE
