Job Description
This position is responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of the companies telecommunications infrastructure including voice, video, and related components in North America. This position will also participate in the deployment, upgrading, and management of a geographically distributed IT network and telephony infrastructure, requiring occasional travel. The ability to analyze the current telecom environment, provide feedback, make recommendations for improvements, and implement changes are expected.
Qualifications
Experienced with Cisco VoIP, Cisco routing/switching products, Nortel Meridian PBX, Avaya VOIP, Polycom video conferencing, and BlackBerry Enterprise Server
Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide exceptional customer service by communicating complex concepts clearly to non-technical users
Knowledgeable in a variety of telecommunication and network technologies, concepts, practices, and procedures
Experience in a medium sized enterprise networking environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
