Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Lake City, SC, offering a contract position within a school setting. This role involves working full-time throughout the school year, providing on-site instruction and support to students with special education needs at both middle and high school levels.
Responsibilities include teaching self-contained and multi-categorical settings for high school students, with class sizes up to 15 students, as well as delivering resource support at the middle school level, accommodating up to 33 students. The role requires developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with general education staff, and addressing diverse learning needs.
