Requirements
Active Illinois LBS1 Special Education teaching license (required)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
Experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
Open to experienced teachers and new graduates with LBS1 licensure
Schedule & Setting
Part-time, Monday–Friday (morning or afternoon, flexible)
Onsite at a public school in Yorkville, IL
Resource caseload for students in grades K–6
Key Responsibilities
Deliver targeted instruction aligned with IEP goals
Support students within a resource classroom setting
Modify curriculum and teaching strategies based on student needs
Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Track and report progress toward student goals
