Solutions Consultant

Tabs is an AI-powered revenue automation platform for B2B businesses. Using the power of AI, Tabs is able to understand and extract elements from even the most complex B2B contracts and then power automated billing, revenue recognition and reporting workflows. Our customers use Tabs to eliminate manual work, collect cash faster, streamline operations, and increase business model flexibility. About the Role

Tabs is hiring a Solutions Consultant based in New York to play an integral role in our pre-sales process helping craft solutions and be a thought partner to both our Go-to-Market organization and our clients. This is a perfect role for someone who is looking to join an exceptional team at the earliest stages and have a massive hand in our growth acceleration.

What You'll Do

1. Partner closely with finance and accounting leaders to demonstrate the capabilities of the Tabs platform, focusing on solving business problems and articulating end-to-end workflows
2. Manage pre-sales projects, ensuring the feasibility of proposed solutions and conducting proof-of-concept development in close collaboration with the Implementation team at Tabs to ensure tight alignment with product capabilities
3. Support the Go-to-Market team by offering a consultative and solutions-oriented approach in meetings with prospects, and translating those solutions into workflow maps, implementation proposals and other materials and assets
4. Provide guidance on integrating Tabs into clients' broader tech stack, which often involves navigating complex systems like ERP, CRM, and BI tools
5. Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring a consultative approach to technical and business problem-solving

• Exceptional Communicator Excellent presentation skills, evidenced by an ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences both verbally and visually.

Requirements

• 4+ years of overall experience, ideally in both a tech-focused company as well as a more corporate environment
• 2+ year in Solutions Consulting or similar roles (e.g. Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management) in SaaS or Fintech
• Familiarity with how systems like ERPs or CRMs integrate in a complex technology stack and be able to drive technical consultative partnership with CFOs and Controllers
• Bonus points for experience in accounting, either as a CPA or prior experience working directly with accountants/controllers

While we are open to candidates from a wide variety of backgrounds, we expect this role to be an especially good fit for candidates with 3+ years of experience, and ideally having worked in early-stage startups. We are an in-person NYC based team with offices in midtown Manhattan (4 days a week in office).
