Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a strong Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller who is proficient in both traditional accounting practices and post-award grant financial oversight.
This role involves financial reporting, month/year-end close, audits, tax prep, and process improvements — all within a collaborative, nonprofit environment.
Key Responsibilities:
? Location: NYC, 5 days on site
? Experience: 7+ years in nonprofit accounting, Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA or Master’s preferred)
