Job Description

As a Security Professional - Government Armed Driver in Polkton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents through visible patrols and strong communication. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you monitor assigned areas and interact with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and others while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas as assigned, maintaining awareness of surroundings throughout assigned shifts.
• Report any security-related incidents, suspicious activity, or hazards to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency response personnel as needed during incidents.
• Complete required documentation, logs, and reports related to security-related activities and incidents.

• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
