Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide occupational therapy services in a K-12 school setting, supporting students aged 5 to 26 with autism, emotional impairments, or cognitive impairments. The role is part-time and contract-based for the current school year, located in Charlotte, Michigan.
Responsibilities include evaluating and implementing occupational therapy programs tailored to individual student needs, collaborating with educational staff and families, and helping students develop skills to enhance their academic and daily living performance. The therapist will work closely with students to address sensory processing, fine motor skills, and self-regulation, facilitating their participation in the school environment.
