Position Summary

This position provides support for the onsite property management teams, assisting in managing a portfolio of multi-family residential assets, increasing their value, and minimizing risk.  This ideal candidate is goal oriented ensuring each property exceeds designated goals while maintaining a safe, secure, comfortable living experience for residents. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations of designated conventional and student housing properties including leasing, maintenance and renovations.
  • Determine needs and requirements of student housing and market rate properties.
  • Assist with supervising and training onsite property manager and staff.
  • Create a strong, positive work environment with onsite property management teams and maintain consistent communication to strategize and support the team.
  • Monitor asset performance and operations, recommend corrective measures.
  • Develop strategies to increase NOI, ROI and minimize risk factors and losses.
  • Review policies and make adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure onsite staff practices compliance with fair housing and company policies.
  • Prepare annual budgets.
  • Collaborate with the asset management team, company analysts, and senior executives.
  • Protect assets by monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
  • Prepare performance reports and other ad hoc reports as requested by Executive Management.
  • Other related duties and assignments as required.

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
  • Property Management experience required 5+ years in management position.
  • Proficiency in Yardi.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to travel.  Travel out of state may be required on a frequent basis.
