Project Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, and resource allocation for manufacturing initiatives.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to quality, cost,, and schedule targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, production, supply chain) to execute manufacturing projects efficiently.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, particularly those impacting production timelines or quality.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial performance to ensure projects remain within allocated funds.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, production staff, and vendors.
• Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and regulatory requirements specific to manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading manufacturing projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and quality assurance principles.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and PM software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional team management skills.
• Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within a production environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context.
• Familiarity with specific manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, assembly automation).
• Supply chain management experience within a manufacturing environment.
