This leading general contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a Project Engineer to join their growing team. This firm is well-established with decades of experience delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, educational, and civic construction projects across Virginia and surrounding states.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced project managers and superintendents on complex, ground-up and renovation projects while gaining hands-on experience in every phase of the construction process.

Responsibilities:

• Support project management team in the coordination and execution of all project phases
• Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and document control
• Track project schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with contract requirements
• Collaborate with field teams to maintain safety, quality, and progress standards
• Communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Contribute to problem-solving and process improvement initiatives on-site and in the office
