Role and Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of strategic PR campaigns for clients, shaping brand narratives and securing high-impact media placements. Report directly to the Vice President and manage a team of PR professionals; oversee the PR team hub and client accounts to drive collaboration and service delivery. Develop event strategy, conceptualization, and creation to align with client objectives and enhance brand visibility. Conduct media outreach, cultivate relationships with journalists and outlets, and secure earned media coverage. Provide client-facing support through meetings and desk sides (video and in-person) to discuss strategy, progress, and future plans. Lead outreach and networking efforts to expand media relationships and industry presence. Oversee sample management, ensuring timely distribution for media coverage and promotion. Manage end-to-end campaign execution, monitor progress, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high-quality outcomes. Track productivity and performance, provide feedback, and analyze results to optimize future PR efforts. Represent BPM-PR Firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Develop and execute event creation and on-site coordination, including post-event evaluation. Prescreen potential candidates as part of HR collaboration for the PR Director role. Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Journalism. 7+ years of hands-on experience in public relations and corporate communications. Solid media contacts and a demonstrable track record of placements across print, broadcast, and online media. Experience managing a mid-sized team of employees; strong leadership and collaboration skills. Strong understanding of the media landscape and what types of stories resonate with journalists. Experience with business press as well as technology and industry press. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and Media Databases. Strong listening, creative thinking, influencing, and relationship-building abilities. Fast-paced, self-motivated, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload. Agency experience is preferred.
