Anesthesiologist Opportunity in State College, PA Position Highlights:
- Seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist
- Join an employed group consisting of 11 physicians and 20+ CRNA’s that provide coverage at the Medical Center, a 260-bed acute care facility in State College, PA.
- 1 Hospital: Mount Nittany Medical Center
- 12 total OR’s and an off-site Surgery Center with 4 OR’s.
- 1 OB Suite
- 4 Endo/GI Suites
- 11 FT Anesthesiologists and 20+ CRNA’s
- Call is approx. every 6 -7 days (Mix of first call and back up call)
- CRNA Medical Direction Model
- Major Service lines include: General, GU, OB, Spine, ENT, GYN, Plastic, Ortho, Vascular
- Low Peds volume
- No Open-Heart Surgery and No Heads
- EMR: Meditech
Compensation & Benefits: - W2: $510-540k + benefits and a $20k annual quality bonus
- PTO: 9 weeks
- CME: 1 week
- CME allowance $3,500 annually
- Sign-on bonus: $40k over 3 years
Qualification: - Medical Doctor Degree (University-affiliated medical school preferred).
- Resident training in university-affiliated hospital preferred.
- Current Pennsylvania medical license.
- Current DEA registration.
- ABA Board-certification and pain fellowship required
- Past medical licensure has never been challenged, suspended or revoked.
- Hospital privileges have never been revoked at any hospital.
- No past convictions for fraud, narcotics, or any felony offense.
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Requires exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
- Requires working under stress in emergency situations or during irregular hours.
