Job Title: Pharmacist Oncology

Weekly gross pay: $3050/- (Only for traveler)

Job Descriptions:

The Staff Pharmacist in Oncology is responsible for providing patient -centered care in a multidisciplinary practice setting with pharmacists, nurses, physicians, and other personnel.

Services provided include (but are not limited to):

The Oncology Staff Pharmacist ensures safe and appropriate patient therapy by incorporating age-specific modifications, preventing adverse drug events, and supporting clinical interventions.
They provide operational and educational support at the Cancer and Infusion Center, conduct research and professional development programs, and act as a liaison across departments.
Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy staff, overseeing sterile product preparation, managing medication inventory, developing and updating policies, and collaborating with the oncology team to standardize chemotherapy ordering procedures.

Requirements

PharmD with 5+ years acute care clinical experience
Strong compounding and sterile preparation skills
PGY1 Oncology Residency & BCOP certification preferred
Skilled in specialty pharmacy medication management
Able to work independently and supervise staff
Proficient in pharmacy systems, automated dispensing & infusion pumps
Experienced with laminar airflow hoods, IV room equipment, and communication tools
Certification Requirements: BLS (AHA)
State License Requirements Massachusetts
