Part-Time Estate Planning Attorney - Washington (Remote Contractor)

Pay range: $500 - $4,000 per case

We are seeking a Washington-licensed Estate Planning Attorney to join us as a contractor. This role is ideal for an experienced EP attorney who values flexibility, autonomy, meaningful client relationships, and a highly supportive, remote-first team.

What You'll Do

• Represent clients in estate planning and related legal matters
• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
• Advise clients on their options, goals, and long-term plans with clarity and empathy
• Support IPP work for family law clients by reviewing and advising on incapacity documents (IPP)
• Handle Probate and other hourly fee-based matters as they arise
• Build strong client relationships grounded in dignity, strength, and clear communication

• A passion for empowering clients with information so they can identify and pursue their goals
• Ability to connect with individuals from diverse cultural, educational, ethnic, generational, and socioeconomic backgrounds

Minimum Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Washington State
• At least 3 years of experience in Washington estate planning law
• Preferably 2 years of experience in Washington probate law
• Exceptional legal writing skills (a writing sample will be required)
• Reliable internet and phone access
• Collaborative spirit, openness to feedback, and ability to thrive in a remote team environment
