Job Description:

We are seeking a senior level highly motivated candidate to take on the ETL/Oracle Database developer position to work on a fast-paced team responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality ETL processes to support a large data warehouse and a few dozen data marts, which are in an Oracle database. The person will be working on multiple development projects while providing support to existing processes in production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Works with users to collect requirements.
2. Creates requirement, technical design, and mapping documents.
3. Develops, enhances, tests, and maintains Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code.
4. Involves users and SMEs in validating the data for accuracy and quality.
5. Works with source control and release processes.
6. Provides production support, works with users, investigates issues, identifies the root cause, finds solutions, and works with other members of the team to implement the solutions.
7. Owns projects, proactively monitors progress, takes accountability, and delivers in a timely manner.

Skills Required:

1. A total of 6-10 years of IT development experience.
2. BS in Computer Science.
3. 6 or more years of SQL development.
4. Basic and Advanced SQL skills (tuning, analytic functions, ability to convert simple PL/SQL logic into SQL).
5. 6 or more years of Oracle PL/SQL development.
6. Basic knowledge of stored procedures, packages, functions, ref cursors, dynamic SQL.
7. Advanced skills in table partition management automation, table functions, calling external programs, experience with Oracle built-in utility programs.
8. 4 or more years of data modeling.
9. 4 or more years of ETL development (using an ETL tool is not mandatory).
10. 2 or more years of Unix/Windows shell scripting.
11. 6 or more years of experience with Oracle DB client tools like Toad, SQL Plus, etc.
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
13. Ability to work with end users to troubleshoot production issues.
14. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
15. Willingness to learn new skills on the job.

Skills Desired:

1. Health care domain experience.
2. Experience with Oracle configuration to add HS services, consume web services, and send emails.
3. Other programming languages.
4. T-SQL.
5. Java, J2EE, Spring.
6. Python, Django.
7. JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
8. JSON, XML experience.
9. Data visualization tools such as Tableau.
10. Big Data (HDFS, Map/Reduce, etc.).
11. Experience using machine learning algorithms.
