Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity involves delivering occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting located in Sun Valley, NV. The role focuses on supporting two students with individualized education program (IEP) plans that include OT services, ensuring they receive the care and assistance necessary to facilitate their educational progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services according to students IEP goals.
• Deliver compensatory services totaling approximately 450 minutes initially for one student, followed by regular monthly sessions.
• Administer ongoing services totaling approximately 150 minutes per month for both students combined.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support each students development and educational needs.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with IEP requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in educational settings.
• Familiarity with IEP implementation and compliance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and families.
• Ability to manage and document compensatory as well as regular OT service hours.
• Previous experience providing OT services to K-12 students preferred.

Location: Sun Valley, Nevada
Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
