About the Clinician's Workday

The facility, which is part of the HCA system, offers 24-hour in-house call shifts and has a Level IV NICU. The hospital averages 269 total deliveries per month, with hospitalists handling approximately 158 deliveries monthly. In addition, hospitalists average 794 patient encounters each month, not including deliveries. MFM support is available onsite, but there is no residency program. Anesthesia is available in-house 24/7, and the EMR used is Meditech. Shift changes occur at 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
