Our CPG client is seeking an up-and-coming product professional who’s excited to make an impact at the intersection of product development and sustainability. In this role, you’ll support product launches, collaborate across teams, and contribute to sustainability reporting that drives customer partnerships forward.

This is a direct hire opportunity with a requirement of 4 days onsite in the Northern Illinois Suburbs. Perks: Every other Friday is a half day!

Marketing Product Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist with product development, packaging, pricing, and retailer program launches
• Create and maintain product specifications and manage sample needs for internal teams and retail partners
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, graphics, R&D, sales, logistics, and customer service
• Prepare and submit sustainability reports for major retail partners (e.g., Target CDP, Walmart Project Gigaton)
• Manage environmental data, ensure reporting accuracy, and stay current on sustainability regulations

Marketing Product Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sustainability, or related field preferred
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting or compliance programs is nice to have
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Salary: $55-$70k base with health, dental, vision, and 401k are offered, along with a generous PTO policy.
