Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare professional with expertise in Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) is needed to provide essential nursing support within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position, based in Overland Park, KS, offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student health throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prehensive nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and health monitoring.
• Manage medication administration as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student well-being.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in pliance with school policies.
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
• Promote health education and wellness within the school munity.

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN or LVN licensure in the state of Kansas.
• Prior experience providing nursing care in a school setting preferred.
• Strong munication skills necessary for interaction with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent health issues, immunizations, and mon pediatric illnesses.
