We specialize in conducting evaluations and providing ongoing services in homes, community, and clinic settings. Achieve Beyond offers ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, and Physical therapy as well as Special Education/SEIT services. We serve children and families in the metro New York area (all 5 boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley, Long Island and Albany), Virginia/DC area, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware. Location and Travel Location: Brooklyn, NY. Cases available throughout Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island boroughs. Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including driving a personal vehicle or using public transportation. The ability to ascend/descend stairs, lift up to 10 pounds, and work on the floor or kneel for extended periods may be required. Salary and Benefits Starting Rate: Hourly $55.00-$80.00. This range is provided by Achieve Beyond; your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during the interview process. Available benefits include: medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Job Responsibilities Provide ongoing special instruction and/or ABA services to children (ages birth-3) in their most natural environment. Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over. Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings. Follow the therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress. Prepare progress reports as indicated and maintain confidential records in accordance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations. Requirements Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York Passion for working with children and families 1-2 years of experience working with children birth-5 is preferred but not required Self-motivated, a team player, patient and professional Fluency in a language other than English is a plus Physical Requirements Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases Driving a personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation Ability to ascend/descend stairs Ability to lift up to 10 pounds Ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods Additional Details Department: Clinical | Location: Brooklyn, NY | Seniority level: Entry level | Employment type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LMSW to join our team in Brooklyn, NY.
