As a Wind Turbine Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping wind turbines running safely and efficiently. This position is primarily full travel , with assignments across the U.S. There are some roles which are location-specific and will be noted on any job posting.

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and drivetrain components.
• Troubleshoot equipment and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure turbine performance and safety.
• Work in varying conditions, including heights up to 300+ feet, confined spaces, and diverse weather.
• Follow strict safety protocols and contribute to a strong safety culture.
• Maintain detailed records of all service and repair activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Airstreams School graduate (required)
• Comfortable working at heights, with mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to travel extensively.
• Active GWO certifications preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb on a ladder system with tools and equipment to a height of at least 260 feet.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be able to climb and work for prolonged periods in potential extreme weather.
• Must be able to enter and exit confined spaces for purpose of accessing mechanical parts.
• Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to work beyond normal operating hours as determined by business demands.
