IR Technologist - Hospital, Easton, PA

GHR is hiring a seasoned IR Technologist for a Hospital in Easton, PA area to work a 13- week contract.

Local Pay: $87.00 - $90 per hour

Travel Pay: $3763 gross per week

Schedule:

• 7:30 AM - 4pm (8x5-hour shifts, 40 hours per week)
• Monday - Friday
• Approx 12 days of call per month (weekdays 4pm-7:30a, Sat and Sun 7:30a-7:30am -24 hours)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of current experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Required certifications: ARRT

Responsibilities:

• Assist interventional radiologists during procedures by preparing and operating equipment, ensuring accurate visualization of the treated area.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
• Operate and maintain a variety of radiological equipment.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff.
• Assist in post-procedural care, including patient transfers and providing post-procedure instructions.
• Maintain a sterile environment in the interventional suite.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records, including procedure reports and imaging data.
• Ensure the interventional suite is well-stocked, organized, and ready for procedures.
