Center Stage Home Design is a fast-growing staging and design company with a strong reputation across Northwest Washington. With excellent search engine rankings, exclusive staging inventory, and trusted relationships with real estate agents and clients, we provide consistent leads and opportunities. We are now expanding our interior design division to include full-service design, furniture packages, kitchen & bath projects, and virtual services.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer who can take on a wide range of design services and has the potential to grow into a management role. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and thrives in both client-facing and behind-the-scenes design work.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client design projects from concept to completion.

  • Create furniture packages and recommend selections tailored to client budgets and styles.

  • Provide virtual design services (mood boards, layouts, online presentations).

  • Execute full-service interior design projects , including project management.

  • Lead kitchen & bath design , including material sourcing and layouts.

  • (Preferred) Produce renders and/or collaborate with rendering partners.

  • Source furniture, finishes, and materials through our vendor network.

  • Provide mentorship to junior designers as the team expands.

  • Collaborate with our staging and real estate partners to cross-sell services.

Requirements:

  • 35+ years of interior design experience (residential preferred).

  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.

  • Proficiency in design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, DesignFiles, or similar).

  • Experience in kitchen & bath design strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

  • Ability to work remotely during our office renovation, with potential hybrid setup later.

  • Local sourcing knowledge in Northwest Washington a plus.

Compensation:

  • Commission-based pay structure:

    • % of design fees.

    • % of markup revenue from vendor purchases.

  • Additional growth incentives as the role expands into management.
