HVAC Mechanic - Licensed - Days

Operate and maintain pneumatic controls and equipment for HVAC equipment and systems. Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic thermostat controls. Utilize HVAC expertise to evaluate problems to optimize HVAC system operating performance. Operates, repairs, lubricates and performs preventive maintenance on all large centrifugal, absorption and reciprocating systems.

This is a full time day shift position, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday - Saturday, located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan

Required Criteria

• High School diploma or GED

• New York City Refrigeration License

• Three years mechanical/electrical experience

• Two years operating on line experience

Preferred Criteria

• Valid driver’s License

• EPA approved certification for proper refrigerant handling practices Universal Type

• New York City Fire Department Certificate of Fitness for Fireguard F-60 within probation

• New York City Fire Department Certificate of Fitness for Torch Use of Flammable Gases G-60 within probation

Salary Range:

$45.11-$48.56/Hourly
