Goodwill Store Manager – Easterseals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain, Kalispell, MT Management level: Mid‑Senior Location: 2137 US Highway 2 East, Kalispell, MT 59901 Wage: $30.50 per hour plus incentive pay Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the retail thrift store, including staffing, donation processing and pricing, sales floor presentation, and administrative oversight. Oversee store logistics: inventory control, performance goals, and the complete donated goods process from donation door to production area to sales floor. Direct merchandise sales floor operations and supervise the production and pricing of donated merchandise. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with shoppers and donors. Recruit, hire, train, and, when necessary, terminate staff; manage the store management team’s daily operations and foster teamwork to meet budget and production objectives. Ensure adherence to organization policies and procedures; deliver regular accurate reporting to Human Resources, Asset Protection, Safety, Finance, and other departments. Complete required safety assessments and oversee store budget, staffing, and operational goals. Qualifications Strong customer service orientation. Experience supervising and hiring staff. Retail management experience preferred. Computer proficiency, including email, intranet, metrics applications, Microsoft Word, and virtual meeting tools. Budget management and tracking abilities. Leadership, communication, organizational, and decision‑making skills. Physical Requirements Read, write, and speak English to communicate with staff and customers. Move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility. Lift and carry 20–100 pounds with team lifting or mechanical assistance; stand, stoop, bend, or carry for extended periods; tolerate extreme temperature and humidity changes. Possibly work more than 40 hours per week; evenings, weekends, and extended shifts may be required. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance. Pass DMV background check. Complete background check required; convictions are not an automatic bar to employment. Experience 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in retail.
