Position: Machine Operator / GENERAL LABOR
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Some Saturdays & Overtime Required)
Location: Ontario, CA
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Machine Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating food processing machines to ensure smooth and efficient production while maintaining high standards for quality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate food processing machines for optimal output
Set up, calibrate, and perform daily checks on machinery
Handle machine changeovers as needed
Monitor weights and ensure proper packaging
Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions of equipment and work area
Follow company guidelines and safety standards during operations
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and HACCP protocols
Qualifications:
Prior experience operating machinery (required)
Experience in a USDA-regulated environment is a plus
Knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP
Ability to work in cold environments
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (pulling, pushing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and standing for extended periods)
