The Position:
We are looking for a two experienced/dependable individuals with great attention to detail to join our upholstery team as an Experienced Inside Upholsterer in Siler City, N.C.
Schedule Information:
Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm; 15-minute breaks at 9:00am and 2:00pm; 30-minute lunch at 11:30am.
This individual will:
- Works as part of an assembly team to manufacture sofas, loveseats, and chairs.
- Manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and attention to detail to meet high quality standards required.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively on a daily basis.
- Attach fabric & padding materials to furniture frame.
- Use staple gun and other hand tools such as pneumatic screwdriver, mallet, scissors, and utility knife.
- Use hammering motion to apply material to furniture frames.
- Read production tickets and spec sheets in order to apply material correctly.
- Timely work and an ability to help the team in meeting daily/weekly/monthly goals is a must.
Candidates that will be a great fit will:
- Have previous inside upholstery experience.
- Be a hard-working individual that wants a long-term career
- Physically able to stand for up to 10 hours per day, Able to lift furniture on and off lift table.
- Have strong hand eye coordination to apply fabric to frames.
- Have good attention to detail and desire to produce not just quantity, but high-quality products.
- Be goal orientated, self-motivated, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
