The World Disaster Center (WDC) is an international organization dedicated to ending disasters through innovative and resilient disaster management. The Fundraising Officer, reporting to the Head of Grants and Partnerships, engages communities online and on the ground, creates compelling fundraising content, and drives grassroots efforts to raise funds for WDC’s mission. This role offers the rewarding opportunity to be a global ally and hero in WDC’s world-changing story, with potential for future funding as the organization grows.
ResponsibilitiesNo formal education requirement; a high school diploma or equivalent is sufficient. Relevant experience or skills in fundraising, content creation, or community engagement are prioritized.
Work ExperienceEvaluation of qualified candidates may include a review of their vision statement (cover letter or video) and a competency-based interview to assess alignment with WDC’s values and mission.
