Position Overview
The Fundraising Coordinator will take initiative in planning, executing, and evaluating all fundraising activities for the organization. This diverse role includes developing donor outreach, managing campaigns, applying for grants, building partnerships, and promoting special fundraising events. The coordinator will collaborate closely with the leadership team and volunteers to maximize fundraising impact.
Key Responsibilities
-Design and lead fundraising campaigns, including both digital and in-person activities.
- Identify and approach potential donors, sponsors, and community partners.
- Grant writing and proposal development for institutional and foundation support.
- Promote fundraising efforts through emails, social media, and other community channels.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience (volunteer or professional) in nonprofit fundraising or community outreach preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with digital fundraising tools, donor management systems, and social media outreach.
- Passion for humanitarian transport, Ukraine aid, or international relief efforts.
- Grant writing or event planning experience is highly valued.
