Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Hours: M-F 3pm to 2am, Weekends as needed

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hr

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of forklifts, including reach trucks, order pickers, and lift trucks. The successful applicant will be responsible for efficiently moving products around the warehouse, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift in a warehouse environment, adhering to OSHA guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers, utilizing mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot any issues.
- Conduct inventory management tasks, including counting and tracking stock levels.
- Utilize a clamp truck to secure products in place.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed, requiring physical stamina and basic math skills.
- Collaborate with the warehouse management team to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
- Participate in shipping and receiving activities, including receiving and processing incoming shipments.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse management practices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot forklift issues.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately count and track inventory.
- Proficiency with shipping and receiving processes.
- Experience in a warehouse environment and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
