Overview
We are seeking a Flat Bed Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Slab Deliveries, Some Warehouse work and safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse staff. Must be able to drive a Manual Transmission.

Duties

• Loading and unloading slab trucks.
• Making slab deliveries in and out of town. (Some overnights required)
• Warehouse work when not delivering.
• Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Move materials within the warehouse, ensuring proper stacking and organization of products.
• Perform routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies while operating equipment.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking materials handled and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management practices and materials handling procedures.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation.
• Basic math skills for accurate inventory tracking and reporting.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
