Join the Farha Roofing Estimating Team
Farha Roofing is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our remote estimating department. This is a technical, detail-driven role responsible for preparing accurate insurance claim estimates for residential and commercial roofing projects. If youre proficient in Xactimate and understand insurance claim processes, code compliance, and supplement documentation, we want to talk to you.
What Youll Do
- Develop and review detailed estimates using Xactimate (required) and Symbility (preferred).
- Interpret adjuster reports, inspections, and photos to build accurate scopes of work.
- Ensure estimates comply with insurance carrier standards, local codes, and company pricing models.
- Identify and document missing line items, code upgrades, and supplements.
- Negotiate and reconcile estimates with adjusters and clients.
- Maintain complete documentationphotos, notes, and correspondenceacross all platforms.
- Collaborate with project managers to transition approved claims into production.
- Track and report on estimating KPIs during weekly team meetings.
What Youll Bring
- 2+ years of estimating experience in roofing, insurance restoration, or adjusting.
- Xactimate proficiency required; Symbility experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of insurance claim documentation, depreciation, and scope validation.
- Knowledge of code enforcement, manufacturer specs, and permitting requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Clear, professional communication skills.
- Tech confidence with CRMs, estimating platforms, and remote collaboration tools.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
