Vernon Health in Viroqua, WI is looking for a passionate board-certified physician to join its collaborative and innovative Emergency Department team. This part-time position provides high-quality emergency care to our dynamic rural community.
About the Vernon Health Emergency Department:
The Emergency Department is a fully renovated 11-bed emergency room and urgent care with private patient rooms and Level IV trauma designation. An annual volume of 10,000+ with approximately 25% admittance/transfer rate keeps the team thriving and patients cared for without significant wait times. The Emergency Department has full access to point-of-care ultrasound services and 24/7 respiratory, lab, and CT services. With the Epic EMR system and modern equipment and technology, patients receive an integrated and positive experience when they need it most.

Qualified candidates will be residency-trained and certified in American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or have completed a Fellowship of the American College of Emergency Medicine (F.A.C.E.P.) with board certification.
