Director of Tax

Leads and develops growing manufacturers overall tax strategy

 Preparing and filing U.S., state and local income tax returns / managing tax prep of

external advisors

 Acting as the liaison with the Company’s external auditors and tax consultants for all

tax-related issues,

 Calculating, paying and filing all U.S., state and local income tax extensions and

estimated payments,

 Monitoring the filing of all foreign tax filings,

 Analyzing the tax consequences of proposed corporate transactions under tax law and

U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP),

 Preparing and documenting all current and deferred tax amounts and disclosures

required under U.S. GAAP and simplifying the calculation/documentation thereof,

 Reviewing the Company’s tax/legal structure to identify ways to simplify the tax

compliance process and reduce tax payments,

 Coordinating exams by taxing authorities,

 Researching and establishing company positions on complex tax issues such as

transfer pricing, cash repatriation, etc.

 Preparing and filing all property tax forms,

 Developing, documenting and maintaining all tax-related internal controls for

compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act,

 Responding to correspondence from all taxing authorities,

 Maintaining knowledge of all current and proposed tax laws and regulations affecting

the Company.

 This is a hands-on role with no direct reports. This role may also be involved with non-

tax issues, such as treasury and mergers & acquisitions.
