We seek patient and dedicated caregivers to assist adults with developmental disabilities in their neighborhood group homes. Our Caregivers / DSPs provide support to adults living in CILA homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangements) with around-the-clock care. Developmental Foundations, a family-owned company providing quality residential services since 1986, is hiring Caregivers / DSPs for our group homes in Charleston, IL. What you can expect: Network of support - trainers, nurses, supervisors and co-workers A sense of belonging, connection and caring, in a home-like setting Work schedules may include a combination of weekdays, weekends and holidays Pay: $18.75/hour Benefits (for eligible employees may include): DSP training is provided and paid. Once trained, you will become a certified DD Aide and will be added to the Health Care Worker Registry (HCWR) Paid time off and paid vacation BCBSIL Health and Dental benefits, including free Vision insurance 401k with employer match DSP work qualifies for CNA license renewal Qualifications: DSP or CNA experience beneficial, but not required Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required Entry level position. Training is provided and paid!
