Position Summary
Digital Atoms is looking for an Audio/ Video Producer, Podcast for our ongoing and forthcoming podcast series. Individual will be responsible for engineering, recording, editing, mixing, and delivering finished weekly podcasts. Additional key responsibilities include assisting with podcast launches, assisting with RSS transfers, and working with a team of producers in maintaining quality assurance and handling adhoc production and post-production issues. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in audio and video editing -- for podcasts, YouTube, etc. Candidate must be familiar with audio editing software Adobe Audition, and video editing software Adobe Premiere. General familiarity with operating cameras and audio-recording equipment required. Photoshop skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
• Record, Engineer, Edit, Assemble, and Publish podcasts as needed.
• Help create social assets for podcasts, (Audiograms, Instagram Posts, TikTok posts)
• Video editing, often multicam, to make a final video cut of podcasts.
• Distribute Ad Copy and vet recorded ads for required talking points, etc.
• Interface with Talent on a regular basis
• Maintain Schedule of Studio Use
• Basic data entry to track podcast performance
Qualifications
• 2+ years experience in video editing (Premiere), audio editing (Audition), Microsoft Outlook; basic Photoshop skills a plus
• Positive attitude, solution-oriented outlook, and collaborative approach to every project.
• Close attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently when needed.
• Experience with recording hardware/recording studio equipment/camera switchers
Compensation Range: $20.00 per hour to $22.21 per hour
