Job Description

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver Retail in Universal City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic retail environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you monitor assigned areas and engage with customers to provide outstanding service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patrons, and employees while performing security-related duties according to site-specific procedures and policies.
• Respond in a calm and problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations, utilizing appropriate emergency response actions as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and help maintain a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the proper authorities and/or site management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs or reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during security-related incidents at the location.
• Support loss prevention efforts by being present and proactive in assigned areas, helping to deter theft or other prohibited activities.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific training and procedures for armed posts, including proper weapon handling protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age as required for armed roles.
• Must have a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification if required by the state of Texas.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
