Architect One is a growing, 20-person architectural design firm with offices in Kansas City, Topeka, and Manhattan, Kansas. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Architect to lead our Kansas City office, inspire our design team, and grow our presence in this vibrant metro area. Responsibilities

• Be an essential part of growing Architect One’s market presence in Kansas City.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships to drive new projects.
• Direct and mentor in-house design staff, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Develop creative design solutions aligned with client objectives and priorities.
• Manage project workflow, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Prepare proposals, construction documents, and presentations with precision and creativity.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Licensed Architect (NCARB certificate preferred, licensable in Kansas and Missouri).
• 5+ years of architectural experience, including construction documentation and project management.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Lumion, Enscape, or SketchUp is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
