About the Role

As an Assignment Coordinator, youll be at the heart of Opteons commitment to industry-leading customer service. Youll work closely with clients and appraisers to place orders efficiently, ensuring every appraisal meets client needs and company standards.

What Youll Do

• Review orders for completeness
• Place orders with appraisers with urgency
• Make informed assignment decisions based on market knowledge and client requirements
• Communicate effectively with clients and appraisers via system messages, email, and phone
• Build lasting relationships with appraisers, clients, and team members through respectful, detailed communication
• Follow lender directives and adapt to changes to meet client expectations
• Manage risk by ensuring compliance with all documentation and communication standards
• Collaborate across departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience

What Were Looking For

• Prior experience: Experience is a must. If you have prior assignment experience working in the appraisal industry, you are who we are looking for.
• Attention to Detail: Precision is non-negotiable, even under heavy workloads.
• Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Use logic and creativity to address client and appraiser needs while minimizing risks.
• Customer Service Excellence: A proven ability to understand and exceed client expectations.
• Time & Priority Management: Handle multiple priorities efficiently to meet daily goals.
• Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication, with strong listening skills.
• Computer Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and quick to learn new platforms.
• Conflict Resolution: Skilled at navigating and resolving conflicts with appraisers and clients.
• Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve department and company goals.
